Sony BDP-S2000ES BLU-RAY DISC PLAYERS

.

Sony recently introduced new Blu-ray Disc (BP) players in its lineage of products. Providing a full range of features, the player is ideal for the home theater enthusiasts, and has been designed after taking input from dealers and consumers. The new BDP S2000ES disc player model from Sony is a primary Blu-ray Disc player in Sony’s “Elevated Standard” (ES) lineage. The player supports a full definition high-definition 1080/60p and 24p True Cinema output and also holds up 7.1 channel linear PCM and Dolby® TrueHD. This player also sports dual shield construction, which is again helpful in preventing the collection of dust on the BD drive, it has also got a rigid drive bracket to reduce quivering.

The player is mostly well matched with the most standard DVD and also employs 1080p up scaling through HDMI to capable HDTV sets, recovering the picture performance of already open DVD libraries. BDP players are also compatible with a range of video formats including BD-R/RE (BDMV mode), DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW (Video Mode), CD, CD-R/RW (CD-DA format), MP3, and JPEG on DVD recordable media. In addition to all this, the player incorporates BRAVIA TheatreSync™ through HDMI. The new feature packed Blu-Ray Disc Player BDP S2000ES will be offered to the user this fall for about $1,300.
