Sony has officially announced their latest multi-channel SACD player, the DVP-NS755V.
Available in June 2002 with a suggested retail price of $300, the DVP-NS755V also features DVD-Video playback, progressive scan video, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 compatibility.
The new Sony also boasts what the company calls their ‘Resume Memory Function’, which allows playback of any DVD-Video title (up to forty at any one time) at the point where it was last abandoned, even if the disc has been removed from the machine in the interim period.
Tim Baxter, senior vice president of Sony Electronics’ Home Entertainment Products Division said “As the market leader in the fastest-growing A/V product category, we are offering the versatility to meet every consumers’ DVD-Video needs. With new models such as the DVP-NS755V offering expanded audio and video functionality at a better value, we are providing music and film lovers the technology to take their home entertainment systems to the next level of performance.”
