If for some reason your plain set top box wasn’t good enough for you, it was recently announced that some special edition Sky+HD boxes will be coming out in the near future. These aren’t the first special edition Sky set top boxes we’ve seen but these ones are special because they will be themed for the 2010 World Cup.

As you can see they feature some pretty nice designs thanks to illustrator Gerarld Scarfe, actor Phil Daniels and Wayne Hemingway. On the inside these special edition boxes feature a hefty 1TB for all of your content needs.

Of course, you’re going to have to pay a bit of a premium for them, ?249 + installation fee, but if you’re a huge World Cup follower it should be worth it.
