Sherwood SB-672 Sound Bar Review-Great For Small Budgets and Small Rooms

I’ll preface this review by saying that I’ve never heard of Sherwood in anything but a forest. And after coming into contact with their Sherwood SB-672 sound bar, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s not the most recognizable name on the shelves, but they’ll turn out a decent if unspectacular product.

The Sherwood SB-672 sound bar is a ninety one watt speaker bar, intended primarily for use with large screen televisions that offers a pair of four inch drivers, hand-rubbed gloss finish, frequency capability in the  120Hz – 20kHz range, and six ohm impedence.

There’s not a whole lot to the Sherwood SB-672. In fact, it’s precious little more than a glorified internal speaker system.  The sound quality is probably the high point here, managing to sound at least passably good wihout being really overwhelming.

The up shot here is that the folks out at Best Buy will let these go for seventy dollars, and if you don’t have a lot of room in your home theater and also not a lot of money, you can still have reasonably good quality sound for your home theater. Not much more than that, admittedly, but sometimes that’s all you need.

Thus, the Sherwood SB-672 sound bar is one to consider, but only if your budget is as low as the square footage allowed for your home theater gear.
