Sharp Quattron LC-52LE810UN Television Review-Terrific And Well-Priced

Sharp’s Quattron line has shown itself to be a real up and comer in the industry.  All those ads featuring Sulu shrieking at the sight of it actually don’t surprise me.   Today we’ve got another one to look at, the Sharp LC-52LE810UN.

The Sharp LC-52LE810UN is a fifty two inch 1080p LED television with Internet connectivity for easy access to a huge amount of content, 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced technology for better image quality during high speed images, quad pixel technology (that’s the stuff that Sulu’s constantly screaming about, adding yellow to the normal red-green-blue array), two ten watt speakers and a fifteen watt subwoofer, four HDMI inputs, one HD component video input, one PC input, and two USB ports.

Frankly, it’s amazing.  The picture on this thing is incredible.  The sound is even more so (I don’t know who first thought to throw a subwoofer directly into a television, but man, does it ever make a difference!), and there are plenty of slots here.  Sadly, it’s not very good for older equipment, but frankly, older equipment would be poorly served by this system anyway.  It wouldn’t be the greatest system to use with older equipment just because the equipment couldn’t handle this system.

But while you’ll have to shell out a load of cash for new components, the television itself isn’t that bad.  Would you believe that a fifty two inch television costs seventeen hundred seventy bucks?  That’s not bad, especially in light of the size and the newness of the technology.  Sure, you can do better, but not by much in the LED market, than the Sharp LC-52LE810UN.
