Recently, Sharp presented their latest Blu-ray player called the BD-HP90. Interestingly enough, this player is measured at only 35mm thick, which means it’s the thinnest model Sharp has ever made. However, the player is also designed to operate in a horizontal and vertical position. It features a USB port, an HDMI interface, Ethernet, and AQUOS Link. Although it carries 3D functionality, it is not compatible with BDXL discs. Thus, the Sharp BD-HP90 will be available in Japan on November 20 for $495. Unfortunately, there’s no word concerning international sales at this time.
