Sharp, makers of the 108-inch LCD, has just unveiled a 60-inch LCD screen that isn’t really designed to be a television as it is to be an “LCD Blackboard”.

The PN-L601B has 1,920 x 1,080, LED backlight, 4,000:1 contrast ratio, and 400cd/m2 brightness. Images can be put on the board through the USB port, and it has some handwriting recognition software as well.

It is only available in Japan at the end of the month for $11,700.
