Sometimes really good televisions show up where you least suspect they will.  And I definitely wasn’t looking for quality in a relatively smaller Sharp Aquos, the Sharp LC46LE700UN.  Would I find it?  Well, that’s why you’re here, so let’s take a look and find out.

The Sharp LC46LE700UN is a forty six inch 1080p LED television that offers Internet connectivity for easy access to a variety of content possibilities, the UltraBrilliant LED System for improved picture quality, two ten watt speakers, an S-video input, a PC input, two composite video inputs, two HDMI inputs, two component inputs, and the propreitary AQUOS Net and AQUOS Link systems.

What was really surprising here was that both the picture and the sound turned out great, at least with the model I was looking at. And this from ten watt speakers, no less.  It’s even better when you consider that there’s almost equal consideration for both older and newer equipment here.

And considering that you can pick this one up for under a thousand bucks–the cheapest I found it, anyway–that makes the Sharp LC46LE700UN a terrific buy and one you should definitely have a look at if you’re in the line for a new television.
