Seagate has released a remote control app for their GoFlex TV and FreeAgent Theater+ HD media players. All iOS devices can now get the free remote, which works over WiFi, meaning you don’t actually have to point it at the media players like regular remotes. On top of controlling the media players, you can also use the iOS keyboard to search for content, among other things. However, you’ll need to update the firmware on your GoFlex TV or FreeAgent Theater+ HD in order for the app to work. You can get the app here.
