If you’re currently in need of a new PCM recorder, then you might be interested in the ICR-PS401RM from Sanyo. Also called the Xacti Sound Recorder, this little device offers adjustable noise sensitivity, a high quality stereo microphone, a orange LCD and a USB port. It’s measured at 39.9mm x 98.8mm x 14.1mm and weighs 54 grams. In addition, the Sanyo ICR-PS401RM can also record linear PCM up to 48kHz and MP3 up to 320kbps. Finally, the sound recorder also comes with a microSD slot for storage expansion. Thus, the Sanyo Xacti Sound Recorder is expected for release on November 26, 2010.
