Sanyo PLC-XL51 LCD Projector

Infocomm 2008 sees Ultra-Short Throw LCD projector PLC-XL51 from Sanyo, an upgrade to PLC-XL50. The integrated PJ Network Interface card enables networking capabilities making it versatile. So you can now easily monitor the projector remotely through a web browser.

"The PLC-XL51 will be the projector of choice for many space constrained applications, particularly in the educational and public information markets," says Mark Holt, the Vice President and General Manager for SANYO’s Presentation Technologies Division. "This is a powerful and revolutionary display tool for the office, digital signage (electronic advertising) and classrooms, creating a more impressive ambience in any location and now with SANYO’s networking capabilities."

While the SD card eliminated use of PC for a presentation, 2700 lumens of brightness, contrast ratio of 600:1, aspect ratio of 4:3, RJ-45 and RS-232C makes it more usable. High-precision aspheric mirror and large diameter aspheric lens shorten the projection distance, thus making floor, tabletop and wall mount projection possible. The distortion free magnification, WEP 64/128-bit security, top and Bottom Keystone Correction, Color Board Mode and Black Board Mode makes your presentations stand out in the crowd.

The 16.9 lbs weighing, Windows and Mac compatible projector will be available in September 2008 at a price of $3,995.00.
