.Sanyo exhibited World’s Shortest Throw Distance LCD Projector at the Infocomm 2007. This new projector can be placed both horizontally and vertically. Sanyo brings a revolution in Projection technology with its advanced ultra-short focus lens and proprietary optical engine facilitates bundled in PLC-XL50 Projector. The projector offers projection of images up to 80-inches from a distance of about 3-inches.

PLC-XL50 features Brightness 2000 lumens, Resolution 1024 x 768, Aspect Ratio 4:3, Built-in mono speaker with 2 watts of power, PC I/O Mini D-sub 15-pin Input, Mini D-sub 15-pin (Input or Monitor out), Video Input: Component Input (RCAx3) and, Composite (RCA), S-Video. It is ideal for classrooms, conference rooms and advertising. But we have to wait till December ‘07 when it will hit the markets with an MSRP under $5,000.
