Sanyo has announced their latest projector today with the Sanyo LP-WL2500 ultra short-focus projector. This new projector boasts of a newly developed filter and lamp which means that the lamp life of this new projector can last up to 4,000 hours.

Key features of the Sanyo LP-WL2500 include a 230W lamp which produces 2,500 lumens, WXGA resolution, 500:1 contrast ratio, HDMI, Ethernet and a 10W speaker. The Sanyo LP-WL2500 will available in Japan this July for $2,900. No word on international availability.
