While 3DTVs are generating a lot of buzz there is another display technology that’s quickly gaining a nice following and that is transparent displays. Not too long ago we showed you a transparent 19-inch AMOLED from Samsung but perhaps that was a bit too small for you. Today Samsung has come forth to show off a 46-inch transparent LCD display that has touch capabilities.

If they are able to utilize this technology properly just imagine how amazing it would be to have a touchscreen windshield or shop window. Of course, I don’t know how safe a touchscreen windshield would be but it would be damn cool.
