Samsung UN55B8500 LED Television Review-It Does Everything Big

Samsung has given us a lot of televisions in our time, and they’ve done some amazing things. Their LED televisions are usually as high-quality as you’d expect, though you’ll pay a pretty hefty price for many of them. The Samsung UN55B8500 is just such an example of incredible quality at a frighteningly high price.

The Samsung UN55B8500 is a fifty five inch 1080p LED television with a whopping two hundred forty hertz refresh rate. It also packs local dimming technology, a relatively new feature, that improves the picture quality, the Ultra Clear Panel system to up the detail levels, a game mode for high-speed video, the Wide Color Enhancer Pro to do pretty much what it says it does, two fifteen watt speakers with SRS TruSurround augmentation, a built-in two gig content library full of games, photo art, recipes and more, Anynet Plus, four HDMI ports, two USB ports, one component input, one composite input, a PC input, an Ethernet port, and an optical digital audio output.

Wow. Seriously, wow. That’s probably the best way to describe this huge, beautiful picture with huge, beautiful sound. About the only bad thing you can say about this is that you’re going to need all new everything to go with this, but if you’re seriously looking at this monster Samsung, you’re already damning the budget and going full speed ahead. It’s a huge, amazingly slim, television that offers you a whole new way to look at your video. You have to see it to believe it, and even then, you still might not believe it.

You’ll have to shell out fully fifty five hundred bucks to get one of these out at Amazon, though, and though it’s as pricey as it is massive, it should not fail to make your very breath catch in your throat.

The Samsung UN55B8500 will blow your mind, for a variety of reasons, but if your budget can take it, definitely take a look at this one.
