Samsung UN46C6300 Television Review-Another Beautiful Wallet-Breaker

We end our week looking at LED televisions by getting better acquainted with a pricey but surprising potent Samsung. Samsung has given us lots of great televisions, and this one will not be an exception. It’ll hurt your wallet for some time to come, but it will be impressive, no mistake. Today we’re talking about the Samsung UN46C6300.

The Samsung UN46C6300 is a forty six inch 1080p LED television that offers 120 Hz Clear Motion Rate technology to reduce blurring in high speed situations (gaming and action films high on that list), Samsung’s Touch of Color design, ConnectShare movie for easy access to thumb drives and digital cameras, a game mode to further reduce blurring and enhance the picture while playing video games, Wide Color Enhancer Plus technology to improve the color presentation, two ten watt speakers, Anynet Plus capability, four HDMI ports, two USB ports, one component video input, one optical sound output, one PC input, and one Ethernet port.

As is usually the case with the newer LED televisions, I’m not happy about the loss of support for older components. People need that older stuff too, you know. But still, there is plenty of total support here for all the various components you might need, which is a definite help. And there’s nothing to object to in terms of the television’s performance. The picture is fantastic, no mistake there, and the sound isn’t quite as good as you’d hope for but still well within expectations.

So sure, it may not be everything you want, and that’s a bit disappointing when you consider this one’s selling for the oddly specific price of $1527 out at Amazon. But still, it’s actually a pretty impressive system overall, and if you’re looking for a new television, the Samsung UN46C6300  is a good direction to look.
