I have heard of a lot of flexible displays, and many companies are working on them.

It looks like Samsung, though not the first to develop it, are going to show off their 4.5 inch AMOLED display. This one won’t have any e-ink, and will be in full color.

I’m pretty certain that these transparent displays are designed for mobile phones and other such mobile devices. I don’t see any reason that they can’t be used on HDTVs.

I wonder if this will be a touchscreen display, and how it will play being huge on a 100-inch screen. Of course, I will be at CES, so I’m going to see these screens for myself. I wonder if they will let me touch them.
