Samsung expands its "functional art" home technology collection with the launch of slim and narrow bezel touch of color Series 8 850 and 860 LCD HDTVs. The HDTVs are based on Ultra Clear Panel technology and Auto Motion Plus 120Hz delivering exceptional audio and video quality.

“Samsung’s Series 8 LCD HDTVs represent the company’s proven dedication to offer consumers new applications and performance levels that enhance their TV viewing experience,” said Jonas Tanenbaum, Vice President of LCD Television Marketing at Samsung Electronics America.

Both TV Series feature a resolution of 1080p, a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and a response time of 4ms. The energy star rated HDTVs comes equipped with 1.9 inches deep bezel, two 10W down -firing speakers, swivel stand and integrated NTSC / ATSC / Clear QAM tuners.

While the 45.9 inches Series 8 850 LCD HDTV is priced at $2,699.99, the same sized Series 860 TV is priced at $2,799.99. Also the 52 inches Series 8 850 and Series 860 TV are available for $3,399.99 and $3,499.99 respectively.
