Samsung PN59D550 Plasma Television Review-Good Quality Piece

Today we’ve got a little dose of 3D in the plasma department for you as we take a look at the Samsung PN59D550, a television that might be a little pricey, but should still put on a great show. Assuming, of course, your wallet can handle it.

The Samsung PN59D550 is a fifty nine inch 1080p plasma television that offers 3D capability (once, of course, you’ve got all the necessary components assembled to access it), a 600 Hz refresh rate which really keeps the blurring down, Samsung’s Cinema Smooth mode to improve movie playback, the Crystal Full HD engine for image processing, Samsung’s standard Touch of Color design, ConnectShare Movie to access playback on cameras and USB drives, two ten watt speakers with SRS TheaterSound backing it up, two HDMI ports, two component video ports, a PC input, a USB port, and a PC input.

Basically, this is a fine television for what you might need today. Your needs tomorrow, on the other hand, are quite a different story. No streaming with this one, but a couple inputs for both newer technology and older tech are quite welcome. The picture is very nice on this one–that unusual size really is distinctive in its way–and the sound that’s backing it up is also very solidly presented.

The price tag is a little hefty with this one, but then, so is the television itself. You’ll be able to get this right around seventeen hundred bucks in a few places, so keep your eyes front for the best deal and you might be surprised how you’ll find it.

The Samsung PN59D550 may be unusually sized, but there’s nothing strange about the quality that it will put out.
