Samsung LN55C650 Television Review-Not For the Frugal

I’ve had a lot of good times with Samsung hardware–sometimes I get one that’s not so good, but most of the time it turns out pretty well.  And the Samsung LN55C650 is an example of one Samsung LCD television that will treat me very solidly.

The Samsung LN55C650 is a fifty five inch 1080p LCD television that offers Touch of Color in its design where they add a bit of color to the frame.  It also offers ConnectShare Movie, Internet connectivity to give you easy access to lots of content, game mode for better image processing in high-speed images, Wide Color Enhancer Pro, BD Wise for automatic setting adjustment for the best possible picture, two ten watt speakers with SRS TheaterSound, four HDMI inputs, two USB ports, one PC input, one composite input, two component outputs, and AnyNet Plus.

Now, I did like the way this looked–the picture looks nice, the sound is pretty good especially with that SRS TheaterSound augmentation, and that Touch of Color really makes it look nice.  I am a bit distressed about the lack of component and composite ports (I usually am) and the price–this thing lists for twenty one hundred bucks–but it really is downright impressive.

It’s a great system, if you’re willing to shell out accordingly for it.  But there are much better deals out there than the Samsung LN55C650, even if this one is a real beauty.  This one is not for the frugal, but it is an unqualified beauty.
