Samsung D7000 and D8000 will have live streaming

Samsung’s Android based devices like the Galaxy S series of phones and the Galaxy Tab, and the new versions of each of those will have live TV support.

It has also been revealed that the D7000 and D8000 HDTVs will be able to wirelessly stream live TV to the phone and tablet. Nice.

My Source is not clear how this will take place, but it probably will be based on the HDTVs second integrated tuner and content presumably funneled over a WiFi network to Android devices.

This could certainly turn the remote streaming into a competitor for Slingbox, or if it will be limited to the use of 3G or the home network.
