Netflix competitor Redbox has surpassed 30,000 installed DVD rental kiosks around the US, according to parent company Coinstart. In addition to expanding to 30,000 kiosks in 2010, Redbox also grew its market share to 30 percent and grow its DVD revenue by 38 percent to $319.6 million in 2010. However, Redbox didn’t address its streaming business.
