Philips has recently unveiled a new 9000 LED Pro series LCD HDTV that boast the company’s new LED Pro backlight technology. The LED Pro backlight technology provides local dimming LED backlight and segmented LED backlight, which sets the standard for outright TV performance. The 40-inch 40PFL9704 and 46-inch 46PFL9704 are two models available in this series.

Both the LED HDTVs features Full HD 1920?1080p resolution, whopping contrast ration of 5,000,000:1, 1ms response time and 176/176-degree wide viewing angle. The TVs comes integrated with two built in subwoofers, two dome tweeters and HDTV tuner. For easy connectivity, they offer five HDMI ports. In addition, the HDTVs also sport the new Ambilight Spectra 3, Perfect Pixel HD Engine, 200Hz refresh rate and Anti-Reflection coated screen.
