It seems that Panasonic doesn’t care about the current economic state and has gone ahead an announced that their TC-P54Z1 Plasma TV will be priced at $5,999.95.

$6,000 for a 52″ Plasma? But, why? Well, the TC-P54Z1’s major selling point is the fact that it is only 1-inch thick. Yes, just 1-inch.

Oh yeah, did I mention that it will have wireless connectivity out of the box? That includes HDMI.
