Panasonic Unveils Two New 3D Plasma TVs in Japan

Panasonic of Japan has launched two new 3D Plasma TV sets with the 42” TH-P42T2 and the 46” TH-P46VT2. The two added TV sets under the Viera product line will require active shutter glasses to enjoy images in 3D and full HD resolution.

Among the features of the new 3D Plasma TVs include a native contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, DLNA support, Skype compatibility and video on demand support. They will also come with 16?4cm?2 full range speakers, Ethernet, an SD/SDXC slot and HDMI interface. The 3D Plasma TV sets are set to come out by July 30. The 42” TH-P42T2 will retail for $3,300 while the 46” TH-P46VT2 will cost $3,800.
