Panasonic TC-P54VT25 Television Review-Really Nice

And we end out the week with a big hefty surprise, from the folks out at Panasonic.  The Viera subclass has often provided good quality material, and you’ll see a lot of that influence in today’s review target, the Panasonic Viera TC-P54VT25.

The Panasonic Viera TC-P54VT25 is a fifty four inch 1080p plasma television that offers Internet connectivity for easy access to the variety of original content online, 3D capability (when you add on the Blu-ray and glasses and such), both Deep Color and x.v.Color for improved picture, three ten watt speakers with BBE ViVA HD3D surround sound backing it up, four HDMI inputs, one analog audio input, two composite video inputs, two audio inputs, one PC input, two component video inputs, Ethernet port, two USB ports, and one optical digital audio output.

The good part here is that the picture quality here is really nice, no small surprise given that it’s 3D capable. And the sound, with those three ten watt speakers with BBE ViVA support sounds unsettlingly good. To top it all off, the controls are also pretty smooth and easy to work with. A lot of great things in here come together to make a solid package–not necessarily the best, but still.

Oh, and by the way–should you decide to go with this one, man, are you ever going to pay for it. Best Buy wants three grand for this monster, no small price even for an excellent television. You likely won’t feel cheated here, though your wallet will scream for mercy.

If you can live with the whopping great price tag, then you’ll likely find plenty to enjoy about the Panasonic Viera TC-P54VT25. If not, then don’t worry–there are plenty of great ones elsewhere. But this is definitely a little beauty, and well worth taking a look at.
