Optoma unveils 3D Projectors

With 3D monitors sweeping the nation, I suppose it is a matter of time before the 3D projector market hits. Optoma has announced two new 3D projectors in Taiwan, the HW536 cinema DLP projector and the EX762 business DLP projector.

The HW536 has HDMI input and projects at 1,280 x 800 image resolution at 2,800 lumens and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. As for the EX762, it also has a HDMI and network jack, and delivers 1,024 x 768 resolution at 4,000 lumens and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio.

The HW536 costs about $1,150 USD, and the EX762 cost $2,490 USD. You will have to purchase some ZD101 3D shutter glasses to see the 3D effect, and they will run $125.
