Newslight 70-inch Naked Eye 3D display at Finetech Tokyo 2010

Here is something that was on display at Finetech Japan 2010 in Tokyo, it is a display in 3D.

Oh wait, we’ve seen those before. Not like this, you haven’t. This particular display doesn’t require any 3D glasses, as it is a “naked-eye” display. It is also a whopping 70 inches.

So how does this work? It uses some sort of parallax barrier that “subdivides the LCD image into complex repeating segments that, when viewed and then integrated by human binocular vision, presents 3D views”.
