New Sharp Blu-Ray recorders: BD-HDW55 and BD-HDW53

Sharp has recently announced two new blu-ray recorders of the Osaka 2 lineup, which are also known as BD-HDW55 and BD-HDW53. The main difference between the two models is the hard-drive, the first model has 500GB of storage capacity while the second model has a hard-drive of 320GB.

Anyhow, the Sharp Osaka 2 Blu-Ray recorders can record up to 63 hours of Digital Video content in case you are using the 500GB hard-drive, which consists of 3 hours in a Blu-Ray disc of 25GB. Or if you are using a Blu-Ray disc of 50GB it can handle 6 hours of data in Digital HD video quality.
