NEC recently announced its latest PlasmaSync Series of displays. The PDP-P50XP10 is a 50-inch display featuring 1365 x 768 dots resolution, 15000:1 contrast ratio and optional 8 W ? 2ch amplifier with a built-in the speakers. The display will be reach stores from January 15, 2008 at an expected price of 450,000 yen. As far as dimensions are concerned the PDP weighs approximately 47.5 kg and measures 1221 x 127 x 743mm.
