Motorola comes up with a new remote

I don’t know if you are aware of this, but Motorola is one of the the sole providers of Moto boxes and software.

I suppose that it makes sense that it Motorola has come up with the NYXboard, a traditional remote control with a QWERTY keyboard. It has sensors that can recognize which side of the remote is being used and can activate the buttons accordingly. It is definitely made to accommodate “the Internet Era of TV”.

The plan is to have it available by the end of 2010. We’ll see if that works out. It almost looks as good as the Philips DUAL remote.
