Miramax coming to Netflix and Hulu?

Some of you might not be aware of this, but film studio Miramax recently shut its doors about a year ago. Yes, it is the same Miramax that produced quality films like Pulp Fiction, Chicago, Kill Bill (Parts 1 and 2), and Good Will Hunting.

Some people were really hurt by that news, and some may not have even noticed. Here is something else you might not know about Miramax. Right now, the company is working on getting into the streaming scene.

This means that users could have access to the 700 films that are in Miramax’s collection online. I would imagine that it would show up some of of the very popular streaming arenas like Netflix and Hulu.

I believe that this deal would be worth about $100 million, but I have no idea how that number was arrived it. I love Pulp Fiction as much as the next guy, and I’m sure there are other Miramax films that I would pay to see. We shall see.
