LINN has recently announced a new digital media player codenamed MAJIK DS, that will hit the shelves on the UK market with a price tag of ?1,750, which is close to $2,580.

The MAJIK DS is able to stream audio via a normal Ethernet port, or from NAS media servers, and supports the following format files: WAV, FLAC, MP3, AIFF, and ALAC. Among the top-notch connections like SPDIF and TOSLINK, it comes with 2 analog stereo RCA phono sockets.

The MAJIK can either integrate with an existing HiFi setup or, thanks to the on-board volume control, can be used directly with a power amp.
