LGs LD950 TV uses polarization technology for 3D

Since everyone is hoping onto the 3D bandwagon, it would appear that LG’s first offering is the LD950.

The LD950 uses polarization technology, which is different than the NVIDIA 3D Vision tech. It is possibly cheaper and supports HDMI version 1.4, 1080p HD, external storage via USB 2.0 with support for DivX HD, MP3, and JPEG.

So far, there is no word on price or availability for this television, but it does come with four pairs of polarized goggles. It is planned to be released in the UK.
