As we’ve told you in the past, LG is one of the world’s leading electronics manufacturers with a very diverse product line up. However, out of all their products, one of the niches that they specialize in is displays. LG has been offering high end computer monitors and televisions for quite some time and with their latest announcement, it seems they aren’t looking to slow down anytime soon.

LG recently took center stage to show off a 23-inch 240Hz IPS LCD display for use within computer monitors. What is special about this display is that it has the ability to refresh at a rate of 240 frames per second. This means that when utilizing this computer monitor you will be subject to no ghosting and an incredibly clear image.

Of course, when exactly this technology will be made readily available and at what price point is anyone’s guess at this point. As always, we’ll keep you posted with the latest happenings.
