Originally, Lenovo’s notebook, the ThinkPad Edge 14 was equipped with a Core i3 processor. But they recently decided to give consumers the option of having a 2.66GHz Core i7-620M processor from Intel for the notebook instead.
However, this new processor itself will cost $350 if you really want to upgrade your notebook’s performance. The new processor will provide Turbo Boost and generate at least 3.33 GHz and 4 MB of cache. So, basically, you’ll be paying more money to have a faster notebook. Of course, offering a better processor could just be a gimmick to make the ThinkPad Edge 14 a more profitable item for Lenovo’s product line.
