LaCie showcases LaCinema Classic Bridge media player

If you’re looking for a way to get media into your home theater (or wherever else you view your media) but don’t want to shell out money for an HTPC or hassle with streaming you should check out LaCie’s recently announced LaCinema Classic Bridge media player.

The blue light emitting black box you see above is just that, a low cost ($99 to be exact) media player perfect for any application. The only catch however is that you’ll either need to install your own 3.5-inch SATA hard drive or plug in an external hard drive via USB.

Once you’re past that you’ll be able to view all sorts of file formats in full 1080p including MPEG4, MP3, JPEG, and HD-JPEG. The LaCinema Classic Bridge media player also sports HDMI and component outputs.
