Kmart and Sears combine for Alphaline Entertainment, Netflix competitor

For some reason, Sears and Kmart are wanting to get into the Netflix-ish movie download service known as Alphaline Entertainment.

It is going to be powered by Sonic Solutions RoxioNow platform and it plans to make this available to users on all kinds of devices like mobile phones.

The movie streaming game just keeps getting more interesting. Wal-Mart purchased Vudu and then Best Buy teamed with Sonic. I wonder where this will end?
