Klipsch recently launched classy Icon W Series of Home Theater Speakers with furniture-grade wood veneer cabinets in cabernet and espresso finish. The speakers are based on XT Tractrix horn-loaded technology and deliver high quality audio. The models include WS-24 surround speaker, WC-24 center channel, WF-35 and WF-34 floorstanding speakers and WB-14 bookshelf speaker.
Noted Tony Ostrom, Klipsch director of product marketing: "When this project began, our goal was simple: to create a new family of products that will bring the Klipsch mantra –power, detail and emotion – to a new generation of audio enthusiasts who demand aesthetically pleasing products that still deliver outstanding sonic performance."
Low distortion sound and high output are the key characteristics of these speaker systems. The WF-35 featuring 5.25” fiberglass cone woofer and WF-34 boasting 4.5” woofer are equipped with 1” titanium tweeter for desired result. While the WB-14 bookshelf has a 4.5” fiberglass cone woofer, the WC-24 and WS-24 are provided with two woofers. All possess 1” titanium diaphragm compression driver.
You can also replace floorstanding speakers with WB-14 for a compact system. While WF-35 floorstanding speakers are priced at $1,499, WF-34 is priced at $1,199. The WB-14 bookshelf models are available for $599, WC-24 center channel for $499 and WS-24 surrounds for $749.
