This video here looks like it was from a Predator movie, but it is using the Kinect to make one invisible, or convincingly camouflaged. The work is by Japanese coder Takayuki Fakatsu, and made to turn oneself into a transparent outline.

The video is pretty long, and I don’t think it shows how to do this at home.
