JVC THG51 Home Theater System Review-Tough To Find, But Worth The Look

You may have a hard time finding the JVC THG51, but if you do, you’ll definitely want to settle in and have a listen to this. It’s going to do a surprisingly good job of packing the punch you want in a home theater system, and will do so at a pretty nice price.

The JVC THG51 is a thousand watt 5.1 channel home theater system that offers several surround sound decoders, including Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic II, a variety of playback options including regular and burnable DVDs, a subwoofer, wireless rear speakers, an iPod dock, and an HDMI output.

This is actually a pretty nice if minimalist system–the sound quality is at least fair and there are plenty of options to back it up. It even looks pretty nice. But the downside here is that you’ll only be able to find this one in some Best Buy stores.  You can’t even get it online. But if you do manage to find it (and if you look outside Best Buy, you might be able to get your hands on one), you can get it at two hundred and sixty bucks.  That’s Best Buy’s price for it, anyway.

It may be tough to find, but the JVC THG51 will do surprisingly well at giving you what you need.
