JVC has come forth today to show off their latest projector dubbed the DLA-VS2100U. This projector is capable of displaying full 1080p 1820 x 1080 content and features 1,000 ANSI lumens and a 20,000:1 contrast ratio. Unfortunately, there isn’t much else we know about the projector at this point but JVC has told us that the DLA-VS2100U utilizes technology that will allow for higher brightness without putting a greater strain on the projector’s lamp. This translates to the consumer having to change the lamp less frequently which is always a good thing.

No word on pricing but JVC says the DLA-VS2100U will be out sometime in February of next year.
