JVC recently developed two new sets of portable speakers called the SP-A230 and SP-A1M. These devices are bar-style stereo units that feature 30mm drivers, 160mW x 2 of power and a 3.5mm auxiliary cable with connectivity for any PMP.

However, the SP-A1M only carries a single 30mm driver and runs on two AAA batteries in comparison to the SP-A230, which uses AA batteries and is packing dual 30mm drivers. Furthermore, these JVC speakers also come in a series of color options. Nonetheless, they’re currently scheduled to launch exclusively in Japan next month and there’s no word on pricing yet.
