During the last months of 2001 (offer closes on December 31st), JVC America are running a DVD-Audio promotion whereby anyone purchasing a JVC DVD player with DVD-Audio capabilities will receive two free DVD-Audio discs.
Both discs will be included when purchasing a player during this time period, so be sure that your own supplier is participating and that you receive the promotional titles.
The first disc is a sampler of DVD-Audio material from the Warner Bros. catalogue. The eleven tracks include music from Bare Naked Ladies, Daniel Barenboim (Beethoven), The Corrs, The Doors, ELP, Foreigner, Fourplay, Grateful Dead, Nikolaus Harnoncourt (Dvorak), Stone Temple Pilots and Neil Young.
The second disc, billed as an exclusive collectors’ item, features five multi-channel DVD-Audio mixes from the forthcoming Yes album entitled ‘Magnification’, slated for general release on December 4th, together with five selected Yes tracks from the ‘House of Yes’ live concert.
