Galileo of TV network ProSieben is working in partnership with Junaio to produce an interactive TV broadcast.
With the help of Junaio on an iPhone or Android phone, viewers can participate in an interactive quiz, getting feedback on results to compare them to other viewers.
All the user has to do is select the Galileo channel on his or her smartphone from the app itself, and it uses a screen image that triggers communication with a TV station server via Internet.
It is definitely the wave of the future with this interactive TV. Of course, I have seen these interactive surveys before while watching Hulu, and I usually ignore them.
