Jawbone Introduces Jambox Portable Bluetooth Speaker

For four years, Jawbone has been known for its focus on developing noise-canceling bluetooth headsets with modern design and military-grade sound. Now the company has created something quite different in the form of the Jawbone Jambox, a wireless bluetooth speaker. In terms of functionality, it operates much like a Jawbone Icon, utilizing the pairing process, three-button controls and MyTALK upgradable software platform. However, what you’re getting here is not a small mono earpiece but a portable speakerphone with a 3.5mm input jack and powerful stereo capacity.

Furthermore, the Jambox is comprised of a stainless steel grill that wraps around an airtight enclosure made of polycarbonate infused with glass. Within the device, it’s packing a couple of full-range drivers and a microphone up front, a bass radiator and a 800mAh lithium-ion battery. In addition to this, the device can run on continuous playback for eight hours at 75% volume. It also comes in color options of black, red, blue or silver and you can find them at Best Buy or the Apple Store when they launch on November 16. Thus, the Jawbone Jambox will retail for $200.
