I’m sure I don’t need to tell you what movie this image on the right is from. I mean, it’s only from the second biggest movie of all time, from the director of the first biggest movie of all time.

Apparently, James Cameron wants to give Titanic the Avatar treatment. Yes, the big sinking ship will be in 3D, but it is not known whether he’ll be re-releasing it to theaters, or just turning the DVD/Blu-ray into 3D.

Whatever the case, Cameron has said that the retro-fitted Titanic will be more like 2.8D, whatever that means.

I suppose the real question is whether other Cameron films like T2, True Lies, Aliens, and The Abyss are next. I don’t see why not.
