Insignia NS-40E560A11 Television Review-Surprisingly Nice System

I have another exciting review for you today, folks–and though it may not be all sunshine and lollipops, it’s definitely going to be exciting for two big reasons.  One, it’s a forty inch LED television.  Two, it’s under a thousand bucks.  So join us for another terrific sub-thousand dollar LED television, the Insignia NS-40E560A11.

The Insignia NS-40E560A11 is, as advertised, a forty inch 1080p LED television that offers  Insignia Motion to reduce blurring in high-speed images, two ten watt speakers with SRS TruSurround Sound system, one composite input, one component video input, four HDMI inputs, one PC VGA input, one PC audio, one RF input, one analog audio output, one digital coax audio output, and one headphone jack.

Admittedly, this one’s a little lower in some slots.  The picture seemed just a bit off but still pretty good, and the sound was actually pretty solid (again, that SRS TruSurround really seems to put a fire under lackluster speakers) and the inputs are less than I’d like.  I don’t like most anything that puts a premium on HDMI because not everyone HAS HDMI, and that leaves the folks with older hardware out.

Still though, considering Best Buy is selling these for eight hundred bucks, it’s worth having to pick up some new components to get the fullest out of this one.  Actually, considering it’s running eight hundred bucks, well, you should be able to afford a little new hardware along with it.  And it’ll be worthwhile, too.

So the Insignia NS-40E560A11 may require you to buy some new hardware, it’ll also make the new hardware affordable.  And once you’ve got it all set up, well, you should be pretty happy with your whole new home theater setup.
