iiyama is preparing to release a new full HD monitor for Japan’s consumer market. Their latest product is the E2271HDS-B, a 21.5 inch LED-backlit monitor. It features 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The new monitor is also equipped with a series of connectivity ports, which includes D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. In addition to this, a pair of 2W speakers is included as well. The ProLite E2271HDS-B is scheduled to start shipping this month in Japan for about $257.
