Hulu Plus Comes to Android

There are many different ways to find digital content for consumption with popular services like Netflix and YouTube coming to mind. However, another big player in the sector is Hulu – a website which offers a ton of free content that you would normally have to pay for predominantly consisting of television shows.

While the free offering isn’t too large, Hulu also has a paid for service dubbed Hulu Plus which adds additional content. As of now, there are several different ways of accessing Hulu Plus but today another has been added. According to an official announcement Android users will now be able to access Hulu Plus and consume all of the content it offers. Unfortunately it seems that there is a catch as the only phones supported here are the Motorola Atrix, Motorola Droid 2, Droid X, Nexus One, Nexus S and HTC Inspire 4G.

No word on when Hulu plans to bring their Plus service to additional Android phones but we’ll keep you posted.
